Could you post up your console's current dashboard version. It updated fine, but now New Vegas is freezing like a MO Crapped importing my Avatar Items two or three times now - some still don't show up - well they show up, but I can't use them. Mine took 5 or 6 attempts to be able to connect to download the update, and then after that it seemed a little sluggish and spazzed out a bit while I tried to download from the marketplace. Complaints aside, I do like how my avatar has stretched hisself out a little bit.
